Yesterday I was watching Katie Couric on “The Early Show” who was promoting her new book, “The Best Advice I Ever Got.” When she began talking about best-selling author Kathryn Stockett, I was amazed to learn how many times she was rejected before she had brilliant first book “The Help” published.
When I heard the number, it made me admire the talented writer even more. I love how dedicated she was to her goals — and her dreams! Above all, I love how she powered through her rejections, which I believe had made her stronger. She has inspired me so much, and now I know that however many rejections I get, I will be published!
