Today I signed up for March Madness, thanks to reading THIS blog!
My goals for this month (or, rather for part of this month) is to write at least 3,000 words a day and to have my book finished by the 18th!
What are your writing goals for the Month of March?
Yay!! Good luck! Imagine how awesome it’ll feel to type “the end”. 🙂
Thank you for your comment! Oh, I know, I’m so looking forward until THE END! 🙂
I haven’t heard about March Madness. I’m going to go read about it now. I’m not sure I’m ready for another challenge, but who knows!!
Thanks for your comment! I wasn’t sure I was ready for another challenge, but I figured that I have nothing to lose! You can do it! Have a great day!
3000 words a day sounds scary – good luck! I just signed up to NaBloPoMo for March so I guess my goal for the month is to blog every day.
Thanks for your comment! Yes, 3,000 words a day does seem scary, but it does go by fast, if you literally sit at the computer and make it happen. 🙂 On the March Madness website, I put 5,000 down as my goal, completely by accident, or it could be my inner-self saying to go for it! (I doubt it though).
NaBloPoMo sounds fun, and I’m sure it will be great motivation to write more and more! Good luck to you!
Hey, thanks for the like, i’m glad someone else enjoyed my posts! And because I’m already in the midst of writing a book, i didn’t sign up for anything, but my plan is to write at least 2000 words a day until it is finished. I’m at 50,000 words right now, and I think i’m nearing the end, but i can’t really be sure! good luck with your book!
You’re so welcome, and thanks for your comment!
That’s so awesome that you’re nearing the end. I am too, and am finding it the most difficult part, even more so than the middle (the part I didn’t know).
Good luck to you! 🙂
Nice lofty goal. I don’t know about 3,000 words for me but my goal for this month is to definitely be a little more proactive in getting my novel into the hands of some agents. Oh and I have one more goal…maybe 1500 words a day for my second novel!
Thanks for your comment! When I started out writing my book, I thought that 3,000 was an insane amount, but once I got into a system for actually writing, and not thinking about it, I was amazed at how fast the time went, and how many pages I could write. Before you know it, you’ll be flying! Good luck with your 1,500 for your second novel! 🙂
3,000 words a day. Wow, that is quite a goal. Wishing you the best of luck. I’m sure you’ll have plenty of days where you crank out even more, maybe 5,000!
Thank you so much for your comment and confidence! Yes, there have been days were I have surpassed my goal, and when I do it feels great! 🙂
