At the end of last year, I was ready for a change. I was ready to get back into the swing of things, and wanted to get into a system of working. It’s only halfway through the beginning of 2012, and I’m already stressed about tasks that I need to finish in the upcoming weeks. After a few days of taking some time off, I have decided to get back to work, but this time it’ll be with less stress and anxiety about getting it all done. Here is what I’ll be doing to keep it all (and myself) under control:
Make lists – this can help your brain not feel scattered with what you have/need to do.
Use a calendar – by putting your “to do” list on your calendar can help all the things seem not so bad. It’s okay to spread it out during the week.
Check it off – when you’re finished with the task, cross it off. You’ll feel energized and possibly even motivated to move on to the next one.
How do you keep cool, calm, and collective during tough times?
I love your ideas of lists, calendars, and checking things off. I’m feeling extremely frazzled right now. Now if only I was good at lists and such. I tend to lose them.
Thanks for your comment! 🙂
