Hey! Sorry I didn’t post my Fun Friday today…I know a lot of you were waiting for my post about George Clooney and Brad Pitt. I’ll be posting about them tomorrow! Until then, here’s some eye candy for ya’…
Which one do you prefer, and why?
...because every author wants to feel like a goddess!
I love being a Chick Lit writer in the making, and I love being a blogger!
I love reading books so when I was asked to be a part of a blog tour from Chick Lit Plus, I was thrilled, (my first one will be coming in March!) I’ve had a very high respect for blog tour hosts, and Samantha was just one of them. Since then, I’ve joined three others and I am so excited!
Reading the author’s books are my favorite part because I love to type up the reader. I’ve also learned that book reviews are very important – thanks to high statuses when I post a review.
While I’m new at touring authors and books, I love being apart of them because I love promoting, encouraging, and giving respect to the authors much deserved attention.
Authors deserve attention, and why shouldn’t they? Whether your self-published or you’ve been picked up by a highly known publishing company, I think that sharing the news of your books. no matter how much you’re in the biz,” to keep on, and share it with bloggers like me. I will help you spread the word on you book.

While writing your ROMANCE or CHICK LIT novels, haven’t you ever daydreamed that you’re the Heroine and your boyfriend or husband is your Hero in your book? Have you played the part in your own sex fantasy, only to wish you could have him right at that moment, but it’s the middle of the day and he’s at work? (I have this fantasy often when I’m writing, and find it very helpful during a sex scene!)
Well, if you’re too shy to write you and your SO (significant other) into your book, I have just the right thing for you. For Christmas I got my husband our own romance/erotic novel, “Safari Nights,” thanks to a website called UStarNovels! If you go to this website, you can create your own books from the following categories: Romance, Classics, or Vampire. All you have to do is fill out questions that the website will ask you each about, and then you’re done! (If you got this as a gift, all you have to do is register it and it’ll be free). It’s that easy! My husband and I haven’t filled out the answers yet, but I’m hoping to sit him down and answer them this weekend.
This can be a wonderful gift, whether it’s given for Valentine’s Day, Christmas, Anniversaries, Bachelorette parties, or just because, it’s a fun way to bring something new and spicy to your relationship!
I hope you and your SO have a sizzlin’ weekend! Happy Friday!

Betty White turned 90 on Tuesday, so in honor of this iconic woman, I thought I’d pay a tribute to her.
I started going through pictures of her to show you how she’s aged, but the thing is with her, she hasn’t by looks, only by years. She’s looks like the same woman I know and I love when I “met” her from watching “The Golden Girls” many years ago when she played he lovable (yet sometimes cuckoo) Rose Nylund. She was my favorite character on that show because she was funny (everyone around me laughed), and somewhat a ditz, which is how I felt growing up — and sometimes still do. (Note: A few months ago my husband and I were flipping through the channels and we saw an episode being played — well, I finally saw how dirty this show was, and why everyone was laughing and blushing).
Betty was an only child, and from a very young age, she was a pet lover. During the course of her long life, she never had any children with any of her three husbands. I remember her one time saying on a talk show that she considers her pets as her children. Animals have been such a huge part of Betty’s life that she’s played a huge part in charities and supports animal rights.
Funny lady Betty was the oldest host of the highly populated show, Saturday Night Live, in May of 2010. It was the first time I’ve watched SNL in years, and I thought she did an amazing job! She played the parts perfectly, and was so funny! If I were in the audience, I would’ve definitely given her a standing ovation! Speaking of funny, don’t you all love that Snickers commercial of her? She was definitely a team player! I believe that this was a Super Bowl commercial — and I’d have to say it was one of the best!
We could talk about other highly acclaimed female comedians, but Betty tops them all. She is a classic woman, and I’m proud that I can say that I have lived to see this lovely, brilliant, and talented woman in my lifetime. She’s also the grandmother that we all wish we had, am I right?
Now, in no particular order, I’d like to share with you my top five Betty White quotes:
“You don’t luck into integrity. You work at it.”
“I’ve always liked older men. They’re just more attractive to me. Of course, at my age there aren’t many left! I’ve enjoyed the opposite sex a lot. Always have. Always will.”
“The secret to our marriage was enthusiasm. When I knew Allen was coming home, I would freshen my makeup and put on a new blouse. I don’t have a fella, but if Allen — or Robert Redford — were around, we’d have a very active sex life.”
“Friendship takes time and energy if it’s going to work. You can luck into something great, but it doesn’t last if you don’t give it proper appreciation. Friendship can be so comfortable, but nurture it-don’t take it for granted.”
“In your 20’s you dress to impress men. In your 40’s your dress for business. In your 80’s your dress for the bathroom.”
I love you, Betty!
When we think of cowboys, don’t we think of boots, jeans and sexy music? The following sexy make my heart beat fast each time I see them.

The first time I heard Kenny Chesney sing All I Need To Know, I was hooked on him. It was a song that was recorded on his second CD, which came out in 1995. When I saw the video, I remember watching it over and over. His smile made me swoon, and his voice was a major turn on. Since then, it seems that Kenny’s music has transitioned into sounding more and more like Jimmy Buffett, hence his song No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problem, but that’s okay because he’s still got that sweet smile that can melt a woman’s heart.

My brother introduced me to this amazing, talented, and handsome new country singer. His hits include Drinkin’ Me Lonely, Voices, and Tomorrow. When I saw him in concert over the summer, he hit the notes perfectly, and of course he look great while doing so.

When I heard I Can Love You Like That for the first time, I was in heaven. JMM’s dimples are a guarantee way to any woman’s heart. (Seriously, look at that cute face!) I love his teddy bearish body — doesn’t it make you just want to cuddle up next to him? We’ve not heard that much from him lately, but we’ll never forget his emotional and very sexy songs like I Swear, or especially the song I Love The Way You Love Me.

How could anyone not love Toby? This honky-tonk bad boy has been known to carry a flask with him to award shows, not to mention be vocal about his political views. Don’t we all love a man who speaks their mind? His rugged bad-ass ways can charm any woman, and his smile can light up any room. From Toby’s upbeat songs like How Do You Like Me Now and Should’ve Been A Cowboy, to the sweet heartfelt songs, You Shouldn’t Kiss Me Like This and Me Too, it’s hard to say how I what side of him I like the best! He’s just an all around American made man! Isn’t that sexy?

When I first heard Hypnotize The Moon by the hot and sexy Clay Walker, I was in heaven. Every time I heard it, it was as if he were singing directly to me. His songs are filled with so much emotion, and isn’t that attractive? Where Do I Fit In The Picture, Fall, and Love To Be Your Last are my favorite songs that he sings. I love his dark eyes; I could literally fall into him! What’s not to love about this HOT man?

This Australian born hunk looks like he could be in band (possibly a heavy metal), but instead, he’s his one man show — and what a show he puts on. I’ve seen him on several interviews and what I love most about him is that he’s a down-home family man! He love his wife (Nicole Kidman) and their two beautiful girls. When I saw him in concert, he charmed the crowd, not only with his voice, but with his sweet smile. I could listen to him sing and talk all day long in his alluring accent, and he’s pretty damn easy on the eyes…

There is a special place in my heart for Jason Aldean. When I saw him at the Texas Stampede a few years ago, Big Green Tractor, was a new song — one I loved! It’s a sweet slow song about a tractor. Silly, yes, but the song is adorable! His upbeat song She’s Country, is one of my favorite songs — it truly a country song! His Dirt Road Anthem and My Kind Of Party are just two highly popular songs that make him who he is. Every CD release by him is amazing! While Jason might look a little mysterious, there’s something about him that just makes me want him more and more! I’d love to ride on a big green tractor with him…

Oh, Blake, where have you been all my life? This 6′ 5″ man is the whole package! He’s funny, sensitive, charming, sarcastic, hard-working, sexy, and confidant! He doesn’t hide anything, and that’s one of my favorite things about him, (he’s been known to tweet while he’s drunk). This past May, he married the beautiful Miranda Lambert. With songs like Some Beach, Nobody But Me, All About Tonight, and Honey Bee, it’s hard to not love anything he sings. I love Blake because he’s true to himself, his fans, and more than anything, it’s obvious that he’s madly in love with his wife. What could be more sexier?

Women, don’t we wish we were as lucky as Faith Hill is to be married to this man? Tim McGraw has only grown sexier with age. Am I right? From the moment I heard the song Don’t Take The Girl, I knew there was something special about him. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing him in concert twice, and each time I fell more in love with him. What’s not to love about this fun-loving, sweet, and talented singer? I Like It, I Love It, Please Remember Me, and The Cowboy In Me are classic Tim McGraw songs. He is truly a classic in the country music world!

King George is how most country music fans refer to my #1 man! From his first number one hit, Fool Hearted Memory, to his most recent number one hit, Here For A Good Time (his 58th #1 hit), George Strait’s music hasn’t changed a bit. He’s true to his roots, and that’s just one thing that his fans love most! I loved watching him in Pure Country, where he introduced us all to one of his beloved songs, I Cross My Heart. Along with some of my favorites, Drinkin’ Champagne, I Can Still Make Cheyenne, Does Ft. Worth Ever Cross Your Mind, You Look So Good In Love, If I Know Me, and I’d Like To Have That One Back, these are songs that will stick with me forever. I met him once at a concert, and he was one of the nicest man I’ve ever met, not to mention attractive! He is a true cowboy who wears his Wranglers very well!
Now tell me, who is your favorite cowboy?
I hope y’all have a very Happy Friday!
It’s Friday, so you know what that means! New movies come out in theaters. Whether you like to go to movies or not (I don’t), you must have a favorite movie or movies.
I’d like to share my 3 favorite romance movies with you. Now these just aren’t my favorites, they are more like a comfort blanket to me. I’ve watched them during each sad, happy, confusing, miserable, and sick time in my life, and each time I’ve felt better after I did.
These are in no particular order. I love them all the same:

From the first moment my mom showed me the 1959 movie Pillow Talk, I fell in love with Doris Day, Rock Hudson, and Tony Randall. I wanted this sweet love story to be my life. I had fallen in love with Rock Hudson and I wanted to be Doris Day. Granted, I was only a little girl, maybe not even in my teens yet, that’s when I fell in love with being in love. This movie is a true classic of what romance movies are all about.

Once again, I’d like to give credit to my mom for introducing this laugh-and-cry-at-the-same-time delightful and wonderful movie. The first time I saw P.S. I Love You, I went through half a box of tissues. I laughed and cried until it hurt, but because I could relate to the characters. This movie is for anyone who has or is in love, and knows what it’s like to be in love. After watching this movie, I promise you that it will teach you not to sweat the small stuff in any relationship.

Oh, come on now, you know that When Harry Met Sally had to be on my list! I don’t know where or how old I was when I first saw this movie, but what I do remember is that for thee days in a row when I was sick, I watched this movie over and over, and over and over. “Why can’t I have that life?” I wondered. I had a male best friend when I was younger, and life (on-screen) seemed so easy. (Oh, and don’t forget about the fake orgasm scene — it’s kinda’ famous, ha, ha!) Who wouldn’t want to fall in love with their best friend? This movie shows how over time things and people can change, but how love can grow, even when you didn’t think it was possible!
I’d love to know, what are your favorite romance movies and why?
Have a great weekend!
Not only do I love to write, I love to cook. As a writer I think it’s important to cook healthy, so I’d like to share my favorite healthy recipe website that a friend told me about a few months ago. It’s Skinnytaste.com, and since then I’ve cooked several dinners and desserts, which I loved.
Here are the recipes I’ve made from the Skinnytaste.com site:
In no particular order, the above recipes are all delicious! If you’re like my husband and I, we add spices to these recipes to “kick it up a notch,” like celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse.
I encourage you to subscribe to Skinnytaste.com because not only will you receive great tasting recipes, you will not only feel guilt-fee making them, but eating them too!
Happy Friday!

It’s Kim Kardashian’s wedding weekend — again! No, her marriage to Kris Humphries hasn’t ended…yet. For a four-hour and two-day event (Sunday and Monday night) on E!, the people who weren’t invited to their more than lavish and extravagant wedding get to see it!
While most people find her to be the most annoying and spoiled celebrity, I like her, but it wasn’t always this way. Before I began to watch Keeping Up With The Kardashians, I made it a point to pass right by them (the whole Kardashian/Jenner clan), not even giving them a second thought. I was more interested in celebs like Jennifer Aniston and Steve Carell. One day last year I was sick in bed and wanted to watch something that I didn’t care about. Perfect! I couldn’t stop watching the drama that this family created and I was in luck because I stumbled upon an all-day marathon.

It’s sad, I know, but I do keep up with the Kardashians. The show is my favorite guilty pleasure and I’m not afraid to admit it. (If you haven’t watched it and like reality TV, I guarantee you’ll like it).

Anyway, back to Kim and Kris…
This weekend she’s guaranteed to be making a lot of money and why shouldn’t she? After all, her wedding to Kris is the United States’ Royal Wedding, that’s at least what I heard. I understand the point of making money by promoting herself, but I think her wedding should be something that she shouldn’t be making money on. It seems like just another show that she’s on, which kind of makes me think that celebs really do get engaged/married/divorced to promote something; I find this very sad.
In conclusion, I do wish Kim and Kris a lifetime of love and happiness.
When I was a kid I loved to play games, especially board games. Now when you think of board games, you would usually think of Monopoly, Sorry, Scrabble, Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders, Mouse Trap, right? But it’s 2011 and since late last year, my husband and I have started to have games nights and quite often. I have refound my love for playing board games!
Of all the games we’ve played, Settlers of Catan is my absolute favorite game, even over Scrabble, the famous word game. When the guys suggested that I play this game with them, I thought they were crazy. I looked through the instruction manual and was shocked to see that it was over ten pages! Ten pages of instructions for a game? No thank you! Why on earth would I play this game? The first night I played with my husband, brother and our friend Wade. The game is about trading and having a good hand, consisting of resources (bricks, sheep, stone and wood), in order to build roads, settlements and cities. I know some people don’t find any of this interesting, but I once felt the same way. I was soon obsessed with this game and begged my husband to play it with me, even the boring two player version. He laughed and staggered himself to the bookshelf, pulled out the game and began to set it up. (I was one happy wife). A few nights later, we played this with another friend who hasn’t yet played this game, “Oh yay, we get to play Catan!” That night the friend became so obsessed with this game, that we played five games that night. Finally, someone was loving the game as much as I did. After playing about twenty, yes twenty games, I still hadn’t won and was beginning to get very frustrated. Evan the first time we taught my brother, he won that night! Really? Now I was really getting mad. Finally after playing for about four months, I finally won, though it was only against my husband who knows strategies and has really good luck, I felt that it was still damn awesome!
Weeks later, I’m still in love with the game and have even had dreams about bricks, sheep, stone and wood; it’s obvious that I play the game a lot. There are expansion packages you can get to add to the game. HERE they are.
